❧ rules and information.
- Applications will open every other month. They will open during the last week of the month and close on the last day of the month (e.g. opening on the 24th-25th and closing on the 30th-31st). App judgements will be sent out on the 1st.
- You may only apply for one character per app round. You are allowed to have a maximum of two characters in game at one time.
- In the event that we are nearing our cast cap, we will process apps in the order we receive them until the cap has been reached. Applications after this point will unfortunately be rejected due to cast regulations. Cast status are always visible on the Taken Page.
- All applications are processed by a first come, first serve basis. We do not require reserves in order to apply. All reserves expire on the 3rd day (e.g. 26th-27th) of an application period at 11:59PM EST. After a reserve has expired, anyone may apply for the reserved character(s). Current reserves can be found here.
- Please understand that we consider the personality section to be the most important part of any application. There is no set word count requirement (min or max), so please use as many as you believe you need in order to succinctly and clearly detail your character's personality.
- In regards to original characters, please be as thorough as possible for their personalities and histories in the application.
- If you receive a request for revisions, please note that you will have 72 hours to respond with your revisions. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if an extension is needed.
- We endeavour to be as clear as possible when issuing any revision or rejection requests. If any further clarifications are requested or you have any concerns, please respond to the comment containing your verdict or reach out to the mods directly.

ACCEPTED
❧ we are happy to accept your application to the game.
Due to the special circumstance of your apps this month, we will be using a sort of special plot to bring your characters into the game! In our first round of applications, all characters accepted were involved in a mandatory metaplot that required their characters to die upon entry to the game, due to the strangeness and unpredictability of their arrival. The gods don't know to expect any other PCs, and yours are technically arriving in an "off" season in terms of new characters showing up en masse with our bi-monthly schedule. Next month, there will likely be several, but for some reason this month there's only you three.
The perfect opportunity for some plotting, if you're down! Participating in this is optional, however, so please let us know whether or not you're interested by responding to this comment. There will be a pop-up intro log for you to introduce your characters to the game regardless of your, uh, choice of entrance.
If you opt out of this plot, your character will simply wake up in the welcome room as described on the premise page. If you opt into this plot, you will be the last of the Wanderers that experience the effects of the same metaplot. At least, that part of it. Whereas the original round of characters appeared scattered across Yggdrasil, your characters will be arriving directly in Asgard. Your decision to make is: would you like your character to die upon entry to the game, and if so, do you want it to happen somewhere in the city?
The detailed process of arriving in Asgard basically goes: you appear somewhere in your original form; in 2 seconds or less, Honir arrives to grab you; in that time, you died. Honir described it as "bursting like a thing that bursts." If you do decide to do this, we'll give you the opportunity to plot out where exactly you'd like to arrive, and you can plot with someone to have their character be there to witness this horrible thing if you want to! It can be your castmate, and maybe you show up in their bedroom. Or maybe it's a stranger, and you show up in the park while they're walking through it. As per our explanation on the metaplot page, we are maintaining a certain level of discretion when it comes to players that don't want their characters to know they died upon entry to the game, so we probably don't want to allow a gruesome death in a super public space, but we can work with you if you want to dole out more targeted horror. :) Let us know if you're interested in doing this, but by no means are you obligated to do so! This death is exempt from death consequences.
There is a lore purpose as to why your souls arrived here, both in terms of Yggdrasil and Asgard itself, but this is information that might have to be discovered in character. For now, at least, you will wake up in the welcome room and be invited outside for a community picnic, the gods' attempt at introducing you to the city gently. Food usually seems to do the trick. Natives of the world and hopefully some Wanderers too will show up to enjoy a summer afternoon lunch on the castle grounds for a slightly more tranquil celebration of your arrival in comparison to the last one. We'll post this log once you've all responded with how you'd like to enter the game and we've prepared something accordingly, and we'll drop a mod announcement for you too! The mod post will be where you can plot with people if you are interested in the metaplot, or if you want to make plans outside of the log otherwise. Thank you so much for joining us and be safe, dear Wanderer. ♥
