I have some questions about how Heimdall's damage-draining powers work! Most of these I think I can already guess at, but it's best to be thorough, haha.

Exactly what a higher-level person can do- I'm assuming 'wounds' probably means things with blood leaking all over the place, but what about broken bones? Other internal injuries? Furthermore, is it possible to 'heal' someone only part of the way? In other words, turning a big cut into a small/medium-sized one on both participants?

Kind of related, but I'm assuming that the pain-relief-only power from the first level is still available later too, right? If there's someone who can actually heal nearby, no need to hurt themselves for realsies, after all. Also, can they pick and choose what to 'fix?' As in, someone with two gashes- can they relieve all the pain of both injuries, but only take on one to their own body?

Lastly, what is the 'range' of the pain relief? Must the two people be close to one another, or can the Heimdall person wander off to the other side of the city and still be covering the pain of someone's massive papercut? Uh, or must they be in physical contact in general or--?

Hi there! This is kind of a personal nitpicky/minor question, buuuuut I'm planning to app a character this cycle that fits into the Baldr house and I planned on going with the power Regeneration-- but he's a character that has quite a few major physical scars that are a big part of who he is, so I was just wondering if Regeneration somehow would take those away and I'd have to choose Flight to keep them, or if just because he acquired them from home they wouldn't be affected?

Question about pets--

I know the FAQ says characters can BRING a pet along with them when they arrive, but can they also come into possession of a new pet while in Asgard?

These are such finicky, individual questions that I feel bad about putting them up here but you never know, someone might have a character in a similar position at some point, so!

First off: Does the hospital have a lab that could be used to analyse fingerprints/tissue samples? I'm guessing that the grey people don't have any use for an actual forensics unit/autopsy unit, but if they do that would be brilliant for me.

Secondly, as Conan is a small child I started him off with a kid-level job -- working for the post office in a delivery capacity part time -- basically a glorified paper boy. Pay and hours reflect his (apparent) age! However, he's been doing this a while now. While working part time is an advantage in that it allows him plenty of time to run around the city talking to people and organising emergency kits, if this changes in the future and a full time job becomes more desirable, could I promote him? He's recruited other people for the post office, he's been prompt and reliable in deliveries etc, etc. He is also pretty sure that he could get the lovely people of Hel to write him a stunning reference.

Thirdly! (so sorry) This might fall under business maybe, but if Conan was to put up posters advertising his services as a detective (finding lost pets, misplaced items, solving mysteries) would that be cool or should I put that in the buisinesses section?

Many thanks!

Hi there! I just have a question about the bracelet's texting capabilities. Lilly is blind, and as such, cannot see or send text messages. Shall we assume that the bracelet comes with screen-reading capabilities/Braille keyboard, or will she just be unable to send and read texts?

Hey! I just wanted to know whether or not a character from Baldr with the power of flight can have wings if they didn't have them previously. I'm apping a character whose major motif has to do with wings, but she doesn't actually have any, and I just thought it would be a nice little touch if she could get them upon arriving in Asgard. Of course, if that can't be done, that's fine too! Just asking out of curiosity!

Sorry to bother you, but I have a question!

This is for characters who work and are able to get paid housing. Would it be possible to put three people in a two person apartment?

aaaand back with another (more important) question for a potential character. i'm assuming garrus wouldn't become any less turian upon entering asgard (they can use all required tech, and their thick skin doesn't provide any extra armor, only slight radiation protection), but he actually can't consume normal human food. the exact codex entry is as follows:
The food of humans, asari, or salarians (who evolved in levo-amino acid-based biospheres), will at best pass through turian systems without providing any nutrition. At worst, it will trigger an allergic reaction that can be fatal if not immediately treated.

suffice to say, even if it doesn't outright kill him, he won't be surviving on human food alone-- so my question is, will he be able to find suitable food/drink in asgard, or will he be adapted to consume normal human stuff?

Hey there! A question about paid housing. We have three characters who will be living together, but two of them aren't willing to pay. One of them has a moderate wage and has been saving up, but it's not a great amount.

So we were wondering--Baldr housing could be afforded, but it only has room for two people. If two characters were willing to share a room, would three people be allowed? Or would you prefer if they stayed in, say, Odin housing and we assume their funds are a little stretched?

Question! What about a character like Dany, who spends some of her time with at least one of her dragons physically on her? They have no magic, to be sure, but they are still dragons, will she have to come to the city without them or can we assume that they will, for example, simply not grow to be huge in the game and stay small and by that, not a threat to anyone?

Hopefully this will make sense, but I have a question about a certain detail mentioned in the FAQ.

The character I'm planning to app this round goes around pretending to be a paraplegic. In the FAQ it says characters will be guided from the room where they're briefed about Asgard to the entrance of their respective district, but how will this go if the character refuses to (or for the benefit of anybody planning on apping a legitimate paraplegic now or in the future, can't) walk? Will they be dragged there in some way or another?

So I have a question about Freya House's Power Transfer powers. When a power transfer happens, how long does it last? Will the character who's had the power taken from them be without that amount of power indefinitely until it's returned, or does it come back after a certain amount of time? And on that note, how long will the recipient of the power in the transfer have that power? I assume it's not permanent, but I haven't seen specifics on how long exactly it lasts.

I was told that characters get healed to a degree but I don't actually see it anywhere. I would prefer that Nunnally remain blind and crippled upon her arrival, unless she absolutely has to be made otherwise.

Hi there What is last minute app questions? Oh right last minute enabling self >> I have a question actually about a characters canon powers. Namely about James Watson from Sanctuary (this account) and his enhanced intelligence. In canon it's his power, and is biological in nature, and it ramps his intelligence and deductive reasoning up to Sherlock Holmes levels of genius (he is an intelligent man himself without it but this makes it even more so). Would he be able to keep it or would he be coming in without?

Two questions!

1) Can a person still have some memory of what they did while their bracelet was lost, though they lacked a sense of self at the time? My character will forget anything for the time being due to a curse anyway, but I'm curious.

2) Springboarding from 1, If a player comes back from hiatus and finds a log/action post affecting NPCs, do you guys mind us backtagging it with the character sans bracelet (gray and probably hazily unidentifiable and all) and having them recall it later?

Wrong journal, but it happens to be convenient. I've been toying with the notion of apping Nikola Tesla from Sanctuary, but before I do, I'd like to know exactly what he'll have to lose/how much his abilities would need to be limited.

Nikola is a vampire, not in the usual sense, but still a vampire. Genetically. Being a vampire, you have the typical claws, fangs, super strength, super speed, immortality. Besides that, he can conduct/generate electricity, and at the canon point I would be taking him from, he would also have magnetic abilities. The latter essentially makes him a human magnet, but he does have some control over it. It also works at an electromagnetic level, making him even better with technology. He is THE Nikola Tesla, if that gives you any insight. So he's a genius, an inventor and a scientist.

Clearly, he has some advantages here, but I'd like a better idea of how much you would want me to limit/nullify because he's only willing to be altered so much.

Actually one more question, just to make sure I have this straight. A Level 3 upgrade needs four consecutive months, right? I stumbled in activity after getting Cloud to level two and I want to be sure if that reset him completely on the four months needed for it.

I think this question wasn't covered by others above, so I'll put it here now.

I've had it planned to make Hanako recommend a book to the network. This book is actually Twilight, but I am aware that fourthwalling is not allowed here, so I'm looking for a way to make this work without breaking the rule.

Is it possible to perhaps change the title and name of all characters, and keep the book's story similar to the original? This way Hanako and others will never recognize any Twilight character that comes here in Asgard, and there could be shenanigans that will in no way bring to question the fictionaliy of said characters. Is this a good idea?

Pardon me, I have a question.

What if, for example you were going to canon update a character oocly, but their changes were so drastic they needed to change god houses.

Would the appear in the new house? How would you approach this?

In the premise it says the character is given a map of the city. Am I to assume that the map given is the one found on the locations page? And if so, are the locations labeled on it in any particular way? Like, is it literally just a map with symbols tossed on it without explanations or is it a map with symbols + a key of some sort to explain what is what?
