Need to grab a mod? The mods in general can be contacted via DWPM or at asgardmods@gmail.com. This post is also open for comments, questions, and complaints. Comments are screened for privacy! If you'd like to contact a specific mod, use the information below. Plot ideas or other major suggestions can be directed to the suggestions page. We also have a mod plurk where we link mod posts and make quick announcements when apps open/close and things. (We do ask that you do not send us questions via the modplurk, since notifications are tricky things and we are only signed into the plurk itself to make announcements! We don't want to miss your communication.) Please do not go to the Helpers for questions. If you need something, only contact the full mods. Hey there!

First, damage drain can work on the damage caused by illness and poison, but not precisely remove the problem itself. For example, if a character had an illness that rotted the lungs, the damage drain user could take the lung rot onto themselves, but the virus or bacteria that caused it would still be inside the patient. Essentially, they could do something like halving the damage so that both the damage drain user and the person having it used on them stayed alive long enough for regular medicine or Sigyn's healing to save them both. Blood loss and other such things do count as drainable damage!

For your last question, power lending & power transfer work somewhat like electrical power boosts. Imagine that every Traveller has a battery within them that fuels their powers. When the batter is too low, they won't be able to use their powers again (and draining it 100% could cause death). Power lenders are able to take energy from their own battery and refill someone else's battery with it. Power transfer users are able to sap energy from one person's battery and give it to another, but they can't refill their own. Heimdall's Power Lending can provide more energy to the person it's being used on than Freya's Power Transfer, but Power Transfer damages an enemy's reserves at the same time.

If Castiel & Nakama were to work together, Castiel would be able to take significantly more damage onto himself before just running out of energy. It would enable him to do more delicate work, as well. As it is, it'd take more energy to half-heal 10 cuts than full-heal them, since he'd have to be more precise. With Nakama's reserves in addition to his own, he'd able to do more accurate work and more work in general, which may allow him to save more lives without giving up his own. :)
