Shadow manipulation basically, at level 1, allows a character to shape their shadow into anything and have it attack. Conceivably he could have it keep human shape and beat people up or turn it into a blade (one he doesn't even have to hold -- he could control it mentally). He could make projectiles, too. The limit is the amount of shadow available. Level 1 can only control their own shadow. In bright light, that may only give them a sliver of material to work with, but in dim light they might have quite a lot. Also, only one shadow can be controlled at a time, so he could only craft ONE sword, or ONE shadow ball. With higher levels he can control more shadows at once and be less effected by lighting conditions, as well as creating familiars out of shadow that have intelligence of their own. :)
