Premise

It happens in a moment;
In a split second -- the blink of an eye, a flash of light, a moment of fog, everything changes. Whatever you were doing before, you're now opening your eyes to find yourself in a nicely furnished room, decorated in shades of near-grey. There's a circle woven into the carpet, and you're in the center of it. Panic and try to move, and you'll find yourself unable to leave that circle -- at least, not until the maid arrives. She is faceless, with clothing, hair, and body that seems different with every moment. It's as if your eyes can't quite focus on her, and yet she gives off no malicious vibe. She's simply empty and emotionless, as she hands you a folded letter, a map of a city in the shape of a spoked wheel (this is a fully detailed map, not a stylized one like on the locations page), and a simple bracelet inset with a single stone. Once you've read the letter, she'll inform you that you are now a member of the house of a god or goddess, that it's impossible to go home, and that lodgings have been prepared for you in your district's Welcome Hall. Your duty is simply to live, and to grow. She will let you know that you've been given a new ability and what it is, but she can't or won't say more about the situation. She'll explain the details of your communication device, which opens to this silly guide upon start up and has a link to this post at the end ( that will pop up automatically after ten minutes if you don't read the guide ). After that, you're sent on your way out of the castle into a city in varying depths of empty grey. This is Asgard, and from today on it's up to you to add colour to this half-dead city.

Welcome to Asgard Eventide;
We are a panfandom jamjar RP with an overarcing plot, NPC interaction, and an optional definite end, set in a fantasy world with Norse myth inspiration. Characters are brought to the city of Asgard by the gods, in order to give life to a world that's gone grey and emotionless. As the world blooms, characters will gain supernatural abilities based on their patron god, and will eventually face the Giants in the Battle of Ragnarok. If the world and the characters have grown strong, they might just be able to put off the end of the era of the gods.
